Introducing Vista Square – An ecologically sustainable Scheme for Students in Liverpool’s City Centre.
Enjoy the tranquillity of the rooftop terrace with views of the whole city Liverpool’s city centre is about to welcome a revolutionary student accommodation scheme that not only offers exceptional living spaces but also embraces sustainable building practices. Oldham Place, a ten-storey state-of-the-art building, is designed to prioritise environmental responsibility by achieving net-zero carbon emissions (operational), aiming for a ‘excellent’ BREEAM rating, and an EPC A rating. This groundbreaking development incorporates photo voltaics in order to capture solar energy, setting a new standard for student accommodation, providing a sustainable haven that promotes a greener future for Liverpool’s built environment.
Vista Square is committed to minimising its carbon footprint, making it a pioneer in sustainable living. By prioritising renewable energy sources, employing energy-efficient technologies, and implementing energy management systems, the building aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions. Through the use of solar panels, energy-efficient appliances, zero scope 1 carbon air source heat pumps and intelligent lighting systems, the scheme will significantly reduce its environmental impact, setting an example for other developments in the city.
Vista Square is determined to achieve a ‘excellent’ BREEAM rating, indicating its commitment to sustainable design and construction practices. The Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) is an internationally recognised assessment tool that evaluates the environmental performance of buildings. By meeting the rigorous standards set by BREEAM, Vista Square will ensure that every aspect of the development, from materials used to waste management systems, adheres to sustainable principles.
Vista Square further aspires to attain an EPC A rating, affirming its high energy efficiency and low environmental impact. The Environmental Performance Certificate (EPC) evaluates a building’s overall environmental impact, taking into account energy consumption and performance. By implementing advanced technologies, insulation systems, and energy-efficient heating mechanisms, Vista Square aims to minimise energy wastage, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and achieve the highest rating in environmental performance.
Vista Square not only focuses on sustainability but also ensures an exceptional living experience for its student residents. The ten-storey building is designed with modern architectural aesthetics and state-of-the-art facilities. Each living space is thoughtfully crafted to provide comfort, privacy, and a conducive environment for studying and socialising. The scheme offers a range of fully furnished apartments and studios, equipped with high-speed internet, smart appliances, and ample communal spaces to foster a sense of community among residents.
Vista Square presents an ideal living solution for students in Liverpool’s city centre. By choosing to reside in this sustainable accommodation, students not only contribute to the global fight against climate change but also gain access to an array of benefits. The building’s proximity to universities, public transportation, and city amenities ensures convenient living and easy access to academic institutions and leisure activities. Students will also have the opportunity to engage with like-minded peers, fostering a sustainable and supportive community.
Vista Square is set to revolutionise the concept of student accommodation in Liverpool’s city centre. With its commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions, targeting a ‘excellent’ BREEAM rating, and EPA A rating, it showcases the potential for sustainable living in urban environments. By prioritising environmental responsibility without compromising on comfort and quality, Vista Square provides students with a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the planet while enjoying an exceptional living experience.

Came here to view the studio apartments and I must say they are among the best studios we have seen in Liverpool, there are many different studios here and even the smaller ones feel very spacious and come with great furniture and facilities and are arranged perfectly. There are so many great common areas such as a great looking gym, games room, cinema room, karaoke room and a large shared kitchen with a balcony, all able to be booked out if you’re a resident. Chris who showed us the accommodation was incredibly friendly and helpful and told us everything we needed to know, and kept great communication at all times. I am 100% confident that anyone wishing to stay here would be making a great choice :)

I had a great experience living at Vista Square and would happily stay here again if I returned to Liverpool. The location is excellent; right in the city centre and only about a 15-minute walk from the University of Liverpool. The studio apartments are well designed, comfortable, and mine was spacious enough for one person. Having a dishwasher, microwave, and oven in the studio was also a big plus and made cooking much easier (In fact, I learnt how to cook while living there). The shared facilities, including the gym, study rooms, and cinema room was another bonus.
One of the best things about Vista Square is the concierge team. Rhoda, Killick, and the rest of the staff were always kind, welcoming, and happy to help with anything. They genuinely made the building feel like home and created a very friendly atmosphere.
The only downside was that house inspections and maintenance visits became a bit more frequent towards the end of my tenancy. Other than that, my experience was very positive. Whenever I had a problem, support was available, and both the move-out process and deposit return were handled smoothly and without any issues. I'd definitely recommend Vista Square.

Apart from the stylish social spaces and excellent facilities, it’s the team that make Vista so good. They make everyone welcome and take excellent care of every student.
